Qualifications et compétences
- Should have at least a Master’s in agriculture, animal breeding, economist, agroeconomics or relevant fields
- At least 10 years of practical experiences
- Have at least 5 years in agriculture, animal breeding, economist, agro economist, technologist, rural development or equivalent
- Relevant experience in agricultural value chains, and pastoral, non-timber forest products (NTFPs), improved access to consultancy services, financing and markets (including second-generation market information system (SIM2G), development and promotion of entrepreneurship in Africa etc.)
- Very good references in undertaking similar studies in a multidisciplinary team in liaison with many local partners.
- Mastery of English and practical knowledge of French. Proficiency in both languages would be an asset.
- Listening skills, communication skills and a strong desire to transfer skills to national executives involved in the follow-up of the study.
- Ability to work in harmony with all the international consultants. Responsible for the coordination of studies of the country components on the value chain and entrepreneurship component and in relation with all the national experts of this sector.
