Qualifications et compétences
- Should have at least a Master’s with at least 5 years in livestock husbandry, pastoralism, zoo-technics, animal production or equivalent
- At least 10 years of practical experiences
- Relevant experiences in pastoral development, pastoral planning, genetic improvement of livestock, valorisation of the value chains of the cattle sector, improvement of access to advisory services related to livestock.
- Very good references in carrying out similar studies within a multidisciplinary team in liaison with many local partners. Proficiency in English and practical knowledge of French. Proficiency in both languages would be an asset.
- Listening skills, communication skills and a strong desire to transfer skills to national executives involved in monitoring the study.
- Should be able to work in a team with all international consultants.
- Responsible for coordinating studies of country components in connection with the livestock sector and in relation with all the national experts on this aspect
