Qualifications et compétences
- Should have at least a BSc. Degree
- At least 8 years of Practical experiences,
- 5 years’ experience in livestock breeding, pastoralism, zoo-technics, animal production or equivalent with relevant experience in the fields of pastoral development, pastoral planning, genetic improvement of livestock, valorization of value chains of livestock, improving access to livestock-related advisory services
- Very good references in carrying out similar studies within a multidisciplinary team in liaison with many local partners. Proficiency in English and good knowledge of French .
- Proficiency in both languages would be an asset. Listening skills, communication skills and a strong desire to transfer skills to national executives involved in monitoring the study. Ability to works in harmony with all international consultants.
- Responsible for coordinating the studies of the country components on the infrastructure development aspect and in relation with all the national experts in this sector.
