 Qualifications and skills 
- Education at least Master's Degree in Political Science, Humanitarian affairs, development studies, social development, economic development or a related field, or , in its absence, equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent writing Skills
- Excellent organizational and management skills
General professional experience
- At least 12 years' experience in at least one of the following sectors related to lot 3: - Human rights, democracy and rule of law – Conflict prevention and resolution, Peace and Security
Specific professional experience
- Professional experience in implementing and/ or monitoring and/or evaluating programmes/projects in the at least one of these areas: - crisis response and recovery; - humanitarian, political, security, economic and social development;
- forced displacement, refugees and migration issues.
- Proven experience in research, analysis, review and assessment of complex data.
- Proven experience in coordination and advocacy, policy dialogue with national, international and civil society stakeholders.
- Specific experience in Lebanon and/or Jordan in the context of the Syrian crisis will be considered an asset.

- Solid regional expertise or previous experience of the Syria crisis response will be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in financial tracking of pledges by donors and/or in monitoring of policy commitments in the context of a donor's conference will be considered a strong asset.
