Full description of the project

The Support Program for Industrial Restructuring and Privatization (PARIP) has two components: support for the privatization process initiated by the Algerian government and support for the redefinition of the new objectives of the Ministry of Industry.

From a global point of view, the mission aims to strengthen the privatization process, facilitate the privatization of medium-sized companies, and contribute to the entry of new majority shareholders in some or all of the 6 companies concerned.

From a specific point of view, the mission aims at undertaking the necessary work for the privatization of 6 medium-sized enterprises in the fields of construction works, building, and manufacturing of building materials.

Recommendations should be made to assist the Department in defining an imminent action plan.
