Detailed Project Description

This project aims to support the ETF in testing the feasibility of collecting national data on VET, skills and employment in several partner countries, through a structured approach comprising a preliminary assessment, a mapping of sources and programmes, a kick-off meeting in Turin and a verified data collection exercise.

Overall objective
To strengthen the capacity of the ETF and partner countries to access reliable, comparable and up-to-date data on VET, skills and employment to inform national policies.

Specific objectives
• Assess the feasibility and limitations of data collection at national level.
• Identify national data providers and map vocational training programmes.
• Harmonise understanding of indicators through a kick-off meeting in Turin.
• Organise and supervise data collection and verification by national experts.

Expected outcomes
• A structured and verified database on VET, skills and employment in the target countries.
• A direct comparison of data across institutions and indicators, enabling the identification of convergences, divergences and information gaps.
