This assignment forms part of the ETF’s CNL initiative, which aims to develop a set of research tools to analyse and support innovation in vocational education and training across various national contexts.
Overall objective
To design a research strategy and tools to understand, document and support the transformation of learning through the identification and systemic analysis of innovative practices.
Specific objectives
• To develop data collection tools on the objectives, processes, outcomes and contexts of innovative practices.
• Identify the catalysts and barriers to the emergence, dissemination and adoption of these practices.
• Analyse the perceptions, roles and behaviours of practitioners, gatekeepers and learners involved in innovation.
• Ensure the alignment of the instruments with the CNL conceptual frameworks and their adaptability to different national contexts.
Expected outcomes
• A coherent and complementary set of research tools (surveys, case studies, interviews, diaries, narratives, etc.) validated during the pilot phase.
• Combinable data producing comprehensive and actionable knowledge on innovation in vocational education and training.
• Structured methodological support for the ETF and its partners to guide the implementation and management of innovative practices.
