Economic Study of Road Transport Costs in Mauritania

In the joint communication of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Development and the Minister of Equipment and Transport, in the Council of Ministers on 27 October 2004, the government identified constraints that prevent the effective liberalization of the transport sector, and in order to put an end to these obstacles, reforms were decided to be undertaken, in particular, in the road transport sub-sector.
The purpose is to implement the actions and measures provided for in the communication.
Technical assistance to develop the reforms, both on the institutional and organizational level, as well as on the tariffs.
