Implementation of the Learning Strategy

Full description of the project

The primary objective of this assignment was to engage a consulting firm to support the implementation of the learning strategy recommendations. Specifically, the consultant assisted the tripartite organization in establishing a work-study program whereby graduates of higher education institutions are sufficiently exposed to industry and business practices to meet market needs and/or can relatively easily enter self-employment and/or business.

In addition, the consultant developed clear guidelines for improving the effectiveness of the tripartite organization charged with overseeing the implementation of the work-study program.

Specific Objectives:

• Improve the effectiveness of the Tripartite Organization (government/industry/higher education institutions) as the governing body of the dual study program through the development of appropriate guidelines, rules and procedures;
• Develop a dual study program to create a bridge between academic education skills development and work-based learning;
• Promote the benefits of the work-study program and support students and employers.
