Detailed project description

The project focuses on analysing the contributions of civil society organisations to human capital development through non-formal and informal learning in six countries (Albania, Jordan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan), in the context of lifelong learning and the post-Covid-19 era.

Overall objective
To enhance understanding and recognition of the role of CSOs in lifelong skills development in order to inform public policies on education, training and employment.

Specific objectives
• To map CSO activities in the field of non-formal and informal learning and employment.
• To analyse CSOs’ response to crises (particularly Covid-19) and their participation in policy dialogue.
• To identify and document the methods, tools and approaches deemed effective by CSOs in different geographical contexts.

Expected outcomes
• A report presenting a reasoned typology of CSO methods and tools (participation, advocacy, learning by doing, needs analysis, evidence gathering).
• Operational recommendations to improve operational procedures, collaboration with state and non-state actors, and the effectiveness of CSO interventions in DHC within the framework of ALV.
