Updating Study of the Community Road Code in Central Africa
Full description of the project
Between 1994 and 2001, CEMAC succeeded in adopting a comprehensive set of regional regulations that provided a solid basis for modern transport policies.
It is planned to assess the degree of implementation of community texts at the state level. The most pressing needs are the protection of road assets, including enforcement of vehicle load limits, and user safety.
Overall objective
The overall objective of the study is to improve the free movement of goods in the zone.
Specific objectives
The specific objective of this study is to bring the Community Highway Code into line with international regulations and other good practices in the field.
