Final Evaluation of the Implementation of the Project: Support to the Training Program of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa (ASECNA)

Full description of the project

The program is an expression of the needs of ASECNA Member States expressed to ICAO, a specialized agency of the United Nations system and a global forum for civil aviation. It works to achieve its vision of safe and sustainable development of civil aviation through cooperation among its Member States. ASECNA member states adopt its standards.

Overall objective

• To contribute through a rapprochement in the air transport sector to the regional integration of Member States in particular and Africa in general and to facilitate their insertion in the world economy.

Specific Objective

• to contribute, through the training of highly qualified personnel, to the improvement of air transport safety, two necessary conditions for its development, and in this way to make air traffic between ASECNA member countries and between these countries and other African and European countries more effective and efficient.
