Project to Support the Modernisation of the Judicial System of the Tunisian Republic and Assistance to the IT Project Management

Full description of the project

The purpose of the contract is to provide technical assistance and services, coordinated within a Project Management Unit (PMU), for the implementation of the project “Support to the Modernisation of the Judicial System in Tunisia”.

The technical assistance and services requested under the contract aim to ensure the achievement of the project objectives and expected results in an efficient and sustainable manner.

The contract aims in particular at mobilizing and providing the beneficiary with technical assistance to assist the National Project Manager of the Support to the Modernisation of the Judicial System in the Republic of Tunisia in order to achieve the following objectives

• The modernization of working tools and the mastery of these new technologies by the agents concerned, in order to reduce the time
• needed for judgment and ensure better follow-up of judicial cases;
• Modernizing the administrative management of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, in particular through better access to and management of information;
• Improving the management of human resources and the professional skills of magistrates, lawyers, and court officers;
• Improving the transparency and visibility of the Tunisian judicial system.
