Full description of the project

Overall objective

To contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the PNDS through the preparation of a coherent and coordinated implementation of the PRO DS and thus contribute to the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of the aid provided in the framework of the PRO DS.

Specific Objectives

OP 1 :  Support the National EDF Authorising Officer’s Support Unit (COFED – Ministry of

Finance), the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) and the Delegation of the European Union, in setting up institution-building interventions at the central level;

OP 2 :  Support the MSP in its reflections on a roadmap for a progressive evolution towards Universal Health Coverage.

Expected results :

• Action plan for institutional support at the central PRO DS level;
• A clear definition of the potential role of the EUP FASS within a health insurance system;
• A development plan for the EUP FASS based on their identified potential role.
