Capacity Building for the Investigation and Management of Human Rights Violations by the National Human Rights Council

Full description of the project

The general objective of the project, signed on 19 December 2012, is to contribute to the respect of human rights and the consolidation of democracy in Morocco.

The specific objective of the project is to strengthen the capacities of the CNDH and the DIDH to exercise their statutory attributions through a double action of institutional consolidation and support to the implementation of tools, procedures and training critical for an effective exercise of the promotion and protection functions.

Overall objective

In accordance with the provisions of the financing agreement for the project ‘Protecting and promoting human rights in Morocco’, the purpose of this service is to carry out a technical assistance mission to support the institutional consolidation of the National Council for Human Rights.

Specific objective

The specific objective of this mission is to strengthen the capacity of the NHRC to perform its human rights protection function.
